Tom Deryckere (user/25564) started Drupal development in 2005, the time where Drupal 4.7 was hot, and Joomla! was still called Mambo. Tom has used Drupal for several personal projects like http://www.wikifonia.com and research projects at Ghent University (Belgium). In 2009 Tom moved to New York and focused on Mobile Drupal development and started his Mobile Drupal blog (http://www.mobiledrupal.com). He currently maintains several Drupal modules such as WURFL, Mobile Tools, Foursquare and SoundCloud connect. Since June 2009 Tom joined the Northpoint team as Drupal consultant to continue creating great (Mobile) Drupal sites.
